Emphasis on two-way communication

In order to gain a deeper understanding of the state of the inmates and better communication, our prison holds periodic talks with the inmates.  We also hold periodic review sessions on the state of the inmates’ life, set up feedback box, and an appeal commission to help inmates solve any problems in regard to inmates’ situations and rights so the communication channel is open and free and that inmates can serve their sentences with ease of mind.

Humanitarian care for foreign inmates

Our prison accommodates every foreign consulate to let their officers come into our prison to care for their respective citizen inmates so that the inmate will feel touched and be willing to change for the better while serving her sentence.

Visitation and receiving food/drink and items

The prison holds visitations from 8:00-11:00 in the morning and 13:30-16:00 in the afternoon every Monday through Friday plus the first Sunday of every month to increase interactions between the inmates and family to diminish missing each other and stabilize the inmates.

Reinforcing professional and reactionary abilities

In order to reinforce the professional and reactionary abilities of our officers, we hold constant educational training and prevention drills on fire, inmate escape, earthquake, and violence to enhance the awareness and reactionary skills of our colleagues.

Charity activities by substitute military men

The substitute military men in our prison holds various charity events monthly, for example, cleaning the streets, senior homecare, and blood donations to help people and serve the community.
